Dr. Kelli Kawai was born and raised in the suburbs of Los Angeles. She moved to the beautiful central coast of California to complete her Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. She then received her Doctorate of Optometry from the University of California, Berkeley and is a member of Beta Sigma Kappa, the international optometric honor society.
During her clinical internships Dr. Kawai received extensive training in primary care and ocular disease, including the treatment and management of glaucoma, diabetic and hypertensive retinopathy, cataracts, eye infections, and ocular inflammation. She enjoys interacting with patients of all ages and is looking forward to providing you with outstanding eye care.

It was my first visit and for my annual eye exam. I was seen pretty quickly as I had some paperwork to complete. Dr. Kawai was great. Thorough, quick yet patient (I had alot of questions). Her staff were all very nice and seemed like they enjoyed their jobs actually.
