As your therapist you can count on me to be genuine, honest, and to never give up on you, even if you have given up on yourself. Whether it is sitting with painful emotions, cultivating comprehensive toolkits, increasing insight, managing our relationships, or developing a more compassionate sense of self, I will work with you each step of the way. I firmly believe any individual, when presented with a safe, warm, and caring relationship, will blossom and flourish regardless of their circumstances.
My primary purpose as a psychologist is to meet you where you are at, build a trusting relationship, and work with you as an equal. Every individual has unique circumstances and needs and I believe each person’s treatment needs to be customized accordingly. You know yourself better than anyone else, and I invite you to work collaboratively with me towards shared goals we agree upon as a team.
I utilize a variety of treatment modalities including DBT-informed interventions, acceptance-based strategies, CBT, narrative approaches, and object relations psychodynamic therapy.
