More about Dr. Kendall Allred, MD, MPH
Kendall is a husband, father, and a FYXR by nature. He was raised in rural Arizona by parents who taught him the value of hard work, perseverance and doing good for your neighbor. He was the youngest in a rowdy family of five children.
He lived in Mexico after high school for two years and became enamored with its people and their culture. When he returned, he attended Arizona State University where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with degrees in Microbiology and Spanish. He then embarked on his medical training at the University of Arizona where he also received his Master’s in Public Health. It was there he found his passion for population health. While in medical school, he sat on the prestigious American Medical Association’s Board of Trustees during the formation of the Affordable Care Act. He later moved to California and complete an emergency medicine residency at the UCSF-SFGH program in San Francisco. Since completing his residency, he has served in pivotal leadership roles in healthcare startups, hospital system administration, and private organizations. These experiences prepared him to take the entrepreneurial plunge and helped shape the mission & vision of FYXR. He loves to play, coach, and play baseball and bleeds Chicago Cubs blue. He and his wife Rebecca live in Burlingame with their children.
