After earning his medical degree from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, Dr. Kenneth Gerszberg moved on to finish his residency in orthopedic surgery from the same university and fellowship in foot and ankle surgery from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He is a skilled orthopedic surgeon and foot and ankle specialist.
Dr. Gerszberg is an active member of the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society as well as the American Association of Orthopaedic Surgeons. I thought he may have been overbooked and busy. He took very little time with me, but his referral to have an MRI resulted in finally determining my problem. After viewing the MRI with me, he pointed out the fracture and prescribed wearing a walking boot for 2 weeks & then he was off to his next patient.

I chose to see Dr. Gerszberg because of his great academics. He’s not only very smart, but is very patient-centered. He listened to all my concerns, was very friendly, and I am exceedingly happy with surgical procedure (removal of a tumor on my left heel). His staff is absolutely lovely and hard-working. Shout-out to Donna who spoke with me after work-hours while she was with family to make sure my appointment for surgery was all set-up - talk about patient-centered and dedicated! Appointments were easy to make, the office is very nice (went to the Wellington location), and everyone is pleasant and accommodating. The surgery went very well and I’m very happy with the results! I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Gerszberg to anyone seeking top notch medical treatment that is patient-centered. Nothing beats approachable medical practitioners!
