Office has a very welcoming atmosphere and the staff are friendly and helpful. Dr Headington is full of good information and has suggestions on eye health. I found the Doctor's knowledge and willingness to answer questions very refreshing.

Great first visit, staff & Dr. helpful and excited about the job. Zocdoc however had issues transfering online medical questions to Dr. Office. I will be scheduling appointments for my daughter and myself again.

Dr. Kenneth W. Headington received his Bachelors of Science in optical engineering after serving his enlistment in the United States Air Force. His work in the community led him to attend the New England College of Optometry, where he additionally holds a Masters in Vision Science in the field of Adaptive Optics. He went on to complete a residency in pediatrics/vision therapy specializing in vision and learning as well as the treatment of traumatic brain injury and sports vision. Dr. Headington’s passion in the field of optics has led him to pursue state of the art contact lens applications to advanced corneal disease and myopia control. He is an associate of the College of Optometrists in Vision Development (COVD) and a member of both the Colorado and American Optometric Associations. He enjoys outreach programs for vision care, mountain climbing, and ballroom dancing.

The staff was great. The first gal who did my initial screening was very professional and sweet. Dr. Headington was very patient and knowledgeable. The gal who was helping me order my glasses was very sweet and patient also. My entire experience was very pleasant. I am excited to refer more patients to them.

Dr. Headington was very personable with the perfect balance of professionalism. He provided all of the information a patient would need to make an educated decision on care. He provided options and talked through the pro's and con's of each, he patiently answered all of my questions and upon learning I was leaving the country offered to expedite my script to ensure I wouldn't have to leave without my new glasses.

The entire staff was very nice and professional. My husband waited in the waiting room and he and he agreed with me. The staff asked him if he needed anything and made sure he was comfortable.

Dr. Headington is a great doctor with a fantastic manner with patients. He has the most atrocious front end staff I have seen in a while. I spent more time in the office so they could make sure my insurance would pay than I spent with the doctor for both of my sons combined, and he took his time. They were supposed to have my son's glasses mailed to my house, for which I paid. They shipped to their office, nearly an hour's drive for me, instead. I called and asked about them, they told me they would ship them that day. A week later, I called and they told me they had "just shipped this morning". Got them two days later, and they are the WRONG FRAMES. I called to discuss this with the staff at Northglenn and was basically told it was my mistake--which it really, truly was not. My son was very specific about which glasses he wanted, and these do not look anything like them. My guess is that in their zeal to make sure they would get paid on the day of my visit, they did not make sure they got my order correct. It's really a shame that such a good doctor is paired with such abysmal office staff.

Filled out all the paperwork online only for them to tell me I had to fill it out again in person. Front desk not very friendly or helpful. The doctor himself was okay. Exam was fine if you just need a prescription for glasses. My other optometrists have always examined the eyes themselves to make sure they were in good health. Apparently they don't include that in their "comprehensive" exam.
