Overall, the appointment was good. It seemed like the doctor was rushed to finish the appointment, and it led to the prescription being slightly off. I was also very unimpressed with the lack of frame options for glasses, at that time. The practice has since been sold, and I don't have experience with the new owners.

I went in for a routine annual checkup and am definitely satisfied with my choice of Dr. Jones and this Atlanta Eyeshop location. They've got some great technology that sped up the process and gave confidence in the accuracy of the results. The receptionist/technician was very friendly throughout the whole process. Dr. Jones spent some time reviewing specifics on my results and explained next steps in an easy manner. Highly recommend!

He attended Michigan State University and the Michigan College of Optometry and is Certified by the National Board of Examiners in Treatment and Management of Ocular Diseases. He is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Armed Forces Optometric Society. He is highly qualified to treat your ocular medical problems, expertly fit all types of contact lenses and recommend great fitting and fashionable eyewear from Atlanta Eyeshop's extensive designer eyewear selection.
Dr. Jones is a Vinings resident whom is happily married with two kids, and 5 grand kids. He is a Major in the United States Air Force Reserve;s 94th Aeromedical Staging Squadron at Dobbins Air Force Base. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, golfing, as well as scuba diving and spending time with his family.
With well over two decades of optometric experience, Dr. Jones is knowledgeable and highly trained to provide the most comprehensive vision care available for all of our patients.

Dr Jones was terrific but the person at the front desk needs additional training in customer service. I believe she was the office manager and acted as if I was bothering her when requesting to make a follow-up appointment for my husband. In addition to that, she booked my husbands appointment on a day that the office was not open for business then blamed it on another employee. Overall, my experience with the doctor was great but I am considering finding another optometrist to avoid dealing with that office manager.

This has turned into a comedy of errors or better yet a tragedy. My appointment was in late May. Because of scheduling issues (of mine and the office) , a final prescription was not decided upon until July 7th which is when I asked the office to order the contacts that I paid for in May. It's now August 15th, and I have yet to receive my prescription or contacts. The office has no voicemail or set hours so it's almost impossible to get information as to when I can expect this situation to be rectified. I have called, begged, cried and pleaded to no avail. This is the most disappointed I've ever been with any supposed professional EVER! Don't go here!

Not impressed with the staff at this office. They held the glasses I was interested in until I could make it in the office but once I came to retrieve the glasses, they had completely misplaced them! So I ended up ordering another pair I was interested in. There was lots of miscommunication among the different staff members about the second set of glasses. When I came back for the second time to look at the glasses I ordered, they were the incorrect color and price than what the previous staff member had communicated. Lots of trips to the office, which is already out of the way for me, and I ended up with nothing! What a waste and horrible customer service.

I saw Kenneth Jones for new prescription glasses and had the worst experience of my life. First, his management and front desk are a mess. They don't call you back when they say they will. They will tell you that your glasses will be ready between 5-10 days but mine were ready after one month. I d call to check on my glasses, they say that would call back but never called. When I finally got my glasses, after one month waiting, my prescription was wrong. Unbelievable! I went back and we did the test again and then the doctor realized that there was something wrong. Instead of assuming their mistake, they blamed my old prescription for something that I never understood what it was. But, I was a new client and they never saw my old prescription glasses so how could they have messed up with my new prescription and relate that to my old prescription? What did my old prescriptions had to do with all that? Weird... They had no idea of what they were doing. He was incompetent to conduct an eye exam correctly and tried to blame something else. Ridiculous! Unprofessional!
I also had a problem with my insurance. The time I got my eyes checked I paid everything out of pocket. Later on my husband told me that I had insurance and that I could ask if they could file a claim anyway. My insurance told me they could file a claim even after the service. Their front desk told me that they would file a claim. So, when I went back to start the process of filing a claim so they could reimburse me, they said that wouldn't do it anymore because they would lose money. WHAT? But the insurance would pay them for my services! Basically, what I understood is that they probably give a different service to who has insurance and who doesn't. So, why they told me that would file a claim and reimburse and when I got there they said that they wouldn't t do it anymore? They probably think I am an idiot. So disrespectful!
Another thing , their frames are pretty but very pricy. You can get the same ones for a better deal somewhere else. This clowns are so disrespectful and a huge mess. I don't recommend them to anyone. I suggest you check YELP reviews as well before you consider going there.
In sum, their doctor is incompetent, their front desk is a mess and treat clients as idiots, and their frames are very pricy.

My contacts had begun to make me miserable causing me to have symptoms of pink eye. I had reverted back to glasses because of it. Dr. Kenneth instantly knew what the issue was (a slight allergic reaction to silicone) and I have been 100% better ever since. I love this place. I have an 8-5 job and they are the only place that can accommodate after 6pm appointments during weekdays. I am truly appreciative for that. Donna is an amazingly sweet assistant who always knows me by name and the happy hours with cheese and wine on my Thursday appointments is just the cherry on top! ;)

Saw Dr. Jones for my annual eye exam. His staff was polite and helpful with regard to insurance coverage. Dr Jones himself was very friendly and personable and helped me understand the different evaluations used to assess my vision and eye health. Will be sending my family and neighbors his way!

This was my first visit. I Iove Dr. Jones and Mrs. Donna.( I think that's her name). They were both very pleasant and professional. It's refreshing to know that some Dr's still have bedside manners. And Mrs. Donna help me pick out glasses to suit my style. I can be very picky. I Love the Eye Shop!!!!

Front desk staff was very friendly and attentive. She remembered me front the last time I came into the office and asked related questions to the conversation from the last visit. The doctor was very professional and open to questions. He did not make me for feel uncomfortable because child was hungry and irritable. He continued to reinsure that it was okay.
