Overall he was great and the people at his office are very nice, but there were a lot of extras that I was charged for without being told that they weren't covered by my co-pay. Just make sure you itemize all procedures and ask if your insurance covers them fully, and you'll be fine. Also, he doesn't take credit or debit cards.

Very helpful and informative. Gave me a great plan of action to heal my injury. The staff was very nice and it's a comfortable atmosphere in the office.

Dr Lubell is the most unprofessional rude person/doctor I have ever met. He has screamed at me for his reasons 3/3 times for his own poor office procededures when I have been there.
Today when I lost it- and told him I though he was "a nut" he said, "I'm a Vietnam Vet I don't need to take this crap!" He also said it was because of patients like me he "wanted to retire".
I can't get into the details of his behavior but it was totally unprovoked and he is one off-kilter man.
When I left his office- and would not take or pay for the orthodics he had partially finished for my son, he said, " ok I'll see you in court!" I wanted nothing to do with him again ever- much less have him keep working with my 14 year old son who witnessed two of his insane outbursts.
Steer clear. This is a scary character.

Dr. Lubbell is very personable and professional but the nurses didn't see like they wanted to be there at all. I do have two warnings if you're considering this practice:
1. this practice is cash-only!
2. I noticed a giant dog laying in the doctor's office, so if you're allergic or afraid you may want to go elsewhere.

The receptionist was rude. They weren't on time. They told me I had to go get cash because I am uninsured and when I asked why they hadn't let me know that before I got there they said "You didn't ask." When I asked if the doctor was on time so that I could run and get cash they said "When have you ever been to a doctor that you walk right in at your scheduled time?"

I had to verify with Aetna that the doc was considered in network b/c they weren't sure. Zocdoc has him listed as a participant of my plan but once I arrived they were concerned which in turn worried the heck out of me. The doctor was familiar with my injury and made some great recommendations. I'd certainly visit him again if necessary.

Dr Lubell was amazing. I went in quite anxious about my foot injury, and he put me at ease right away. I felt confident in his expertise and opinion, and really appreciated he took the time to explain all the details to me and made sure all my questions were answered. His nursing stuff was equally forthcoming and pleasant.

Dr. Lubell is very friendly and he was quick to suggest treatment for my ingrown toenail. He put me at ease while prepping the procedure, which he executed quickly and without pain, and chatted with me throughout the process. His office is easy to access, clean, comfortable, and they were playing some great Jazz music over the speaker system. The nurses were very nice as well.
