Dr. Kenneth Pettit is a highly-trained and qualified physician specializing in family practice, aesthetic medicine and wound care. Dr. Pettit received his medical degree from the Western University of Health Sciences, College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific, Pomona, CA. He graduated in 1997 and completed his Residency at Tempe St. Lukes hospital, Tempe Arizona, in June of 2000. After completing his residency in 2000, he opened his Family Practice in Ahwatukee, Arizona. Dr. Pettit cares for 5,500 active patients himself as well as making hospital bedside visits. He was voted the top physician in Ahwatukee in 2007 and 2010 and in the top 3 physicians in Ahwatukee in 2008 and 2009.
Along side of his Family Practice, Dr. Pettit provides Aesthetic Medicine using non-invasive laser treatments. Dr. Pettit has been an active voice in the discussion of indirect vs. direct supervision while performing laser procedures. His personal touch sets him above all other aesthetic medicine providers.
Dr. Pettit was one the first physicians to bring Hyperbaric Medicine/Wound Care to the Phoenix metropolitan area when he opened Comprehensive Wound Care, Inc in 2003. Since that time Comprehensive Wound Care operates out of 12 hospitals and 9 skilled nursing centers throughout the valley. Dr. Pettit is Medical Director for 4 of the hospital facilities and 5 of the skilled nursing centers. He was recently recognized as Medical Director of the year for the Southwest Region of Life Care Center of America in 2007. Dr. Pettit’s wound care program is the leading wound care providers in the Phoenix metropolitan area.
