A native Houstonian, Dr. Dennis grew up in the Memorial area. A 1974 Memorial High School graduate, he received a bachelor of science degree from the University of Texas - Austin and his degree in podiatric medicine from the California College of Podiatric Medicine.
Dr. Dennis completed a two-year residency program at the U.T. Health Science Center San Antonio and was named Chief Resident in 1985. In 1986 he completed a Fellowship in Training by the American Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine.
Dr. Dennis and his beautiful wife Kathy have lived and raised two fantastic kids in the Memorial area since 1986. They try to spend as many weekends as possible at their farm in New Ulm, Texas.
