Dr. Mody, a native of Chicago, has a passion for sports that began early in childhood and has remained a lifelong fan of the Cubs, Bulls and Bears. When he later became committed to pursuing a life in medicine he knew he wanted to combine his two greatest loves – sports and medicine. As such, even during his medical school days, Dr. Mody took every training opportunity available in sports medicine and often created his own learning opportunities. While in medical school, Dr. Mody completed Sports Medicine rotations in Chicago, Houston and Los Angeles where he covered high school, college teams as well as pro golf events and marathons. He received his medical degree from the Chicago Medical School/Finch University of Health Sciences. Dr. Mody completed his residency in Family Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center at Shadyside Hospital, where he also spent extensive time at the UPMC Sports Medicine Center learning from the likes of Drs. David Stone & Tanya Hagen as well as some of the orthopedic surgeons. During residency, Dr. Mody also worked in Australia with local sports physicians as well as with doctors at the renowned Australian Sports Medicine Institute. There he treated athletes of all sorts and covered sports such as rugby and cricket. Also during residency, Dr. Mody worked in Dallas where he covered triathlons, high school and college football as well as rodeos. Dr. Mody's fellowship training in Sports Medicine occurred at the University of Connecticut where he took care of the Connecticut Huskies. Very long wait for about a 5 minute appointment with him. Evaluation was brief and not very detailed.

Very professional and asked questions to get to the root of the problem

Dr Mody was great. He explained my problem, fixed it and sent me on my way. The front desk sent all my paperwork ahead of time which meant I was in and out of the office. Highly recommend.

First time seeing Dr. Mody. Wonderful doctor! Spent a lot of time w/ me, and explained what was going on thoroughly... and explained all my options as well. Didn’t rush me at all. I would definitely recommend him! Five stars!
Holiday travel while injured is no fun. Dr. Modi quickly identified the source of my back pain, made a referral for physical therapy, and recommended a treatment plan that I could start immediately and continue even while out of town. A very personable, transparent doctor who put my fears at ease!
I had a really good experience with Dr. Mody. Made a last minute appointment and they emailed me the forms and confirmation before hand. Front desk staff was attentive and friendly. The medical staff took me back right away and the visit moved swiftly with little to no waiting. Dr. Mody did a thorough assessment, explained everything to me and went over my different treatment options. He had recommendations for therapy near my home. He seems like a very intelligent and experienced sports medicine doc. Would definitely recommend!

I’m so glad that I found Dr. Mody on ZocDoc. I came in for a third opinion for my injury, and I left with a treatment plan that makes sense and have a follow up appointment scheduled. I’m confident that I’ll heal properly now and that I’m under good care. Easy and free parking, no wait and friendly staff are all bonuses.

Dr Mody listened to me with full attention and eye contact. A rare thing with doctors nowadays... He explained my condition, laid out a plan and gave me choices for treatment. I left encouraged and look forward to returning later this week to begin treatment! Dr Mody and his staff were friendly and welcoming.

Dr. Mody is AWESOME. So atypical for a doctor nowadays in so many ways. His bedside manner is excellent. He's clearly very smart, capable, and also (bonus!) extremely personable. He's thorough and efficient, and will happily answer any and all questions during or after your visit. He's one of the rare ones in this field who has a ton of energy and passion for his work. Stop looking - just book with him!

Filling in the details on Phreesia is not comfortable. the screen is not sensitive enough. it would be nice either you change the tablet or improve the sensitivity of the touch screen. overall it was a very pleasant experience at Dr.Mody's office.

Dr. Mody is a great doctor and a nice person. I recently saw him for neck/shoulder pain, but my family has used him for years for every thing from broken bones to tendonitis to concussions (He is a concussion expert). He is thoughtful and kind and you never feel rushed. He is also careful not to run unnecessary tests. Highly recommend!
Excellent! I'll refer Dr. Mody to all my friends
