Dr. Daus was born in Louisville, Kentucky but completed his
undergraduate degree in Chemistry at Emory University in Atlanta
Georgia. After returning to his birth place, he earned his medical
degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine in 1984.
Dr. Daus continued his education with an internship in Family
Medicine at the University of Alabama in Huntsville, Alabama where
his passion for OBGYN grew. He finished his training in Atlanta, where
he completed his Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at Emory
University in 1988.
Dr. Daus manages a successful private practice in Metro Atlanta. He
believes in providing the finest in women's health care in a caring,
friendly atmosphere. His services include assisting with all aspects of
gynecology, pregnancy, labor and delivery, as well as with the special
challenges experienced by women who are in the obstetrical high-risk
category.

Dr.Daus was very informational. He saw me before my appointment time and spent time talking with me afterwards. His hours are great too. I wish you wouldn't have to pay for parking but he got me in quick enough where I wasn't paying extra just to sit there

I would highly recommend Dr. Daus; he is nice, professional, and takes a holistic approach in making sure I was doing well. However, I have had some odd interchanges with the staff. They, for some reason, thought I was a new patient, even though I had been there twice before, which caused some issues with my medical records and forms. Then, I was berated for asking for an STD check without having symptoms. I was always taught that you should get tested every year if you are sexually active, and they kept pushing why I wanted one. It finally came out that they were making sure that I would be willing to pay extra for the blood test, but it was after a good five minutes of back and forth in which I was treated as though I was crazy for taking an interest in my sexual health. While I understand that they wanted to ensure that I was OK paying for the extra test, there was a much clearer and more respectful way to go about this exchange.

Dr. Daus is great! His staff from check in to check out to his office manager whom all are crossed trained are all great as well. Dr. Daus makes you feel comfortable immediately he is knowledgeable and I trust him! I will be back! Thanks guys!

He was more than I could ask for in an OBGYN!!!! He took his time and made sure he addressed each issue and even finished my new patient consultation visit in his office! The visit was good, the nurses were friend but the wait time was too long as that was my first visit. On the bed side was ok but the garget used when brought in was open an in a tray the once from other Doc. That have done the papsmear on me before comes in with a sealed and packed garget and it's opened right there by the bed side. Now When the test was done The equipment was just dropped in the sink When I saw the gadget in the sink when I got up that really scared me. My body has just been irritating me as if they used an unsterilzed garget on me. I have not gotten over the site of it.

Dr Daus is very polite, caring and definitely the best Gyno I've had in a while, the problem was with his office manager Jackie she's very rude, lacks people skill, and poor communication. Definitely is not a good representation of the rest of the staff, so rude, unprofessional and down right nasty.

Overall, the service was satisfactory. I booked an appointment for 1:30 and was confused when the office was locked. I called the office number and only reached the answering service which stated they were gone for lunch and they were not sure why an appointment for 1:30 was available when their lunch time ended at 2:00. A nurse who had walked past me several times in the hall way while I tried to figure this out finally let me in exactly at 1:30. While getting preliminary things out of the way (blood pressure, etc) another nurse came and asked for my card as they had forgotten to charge me for something while I checked in. This struck me as odd and unprofessional. But I will say Dr. Daus and the staff were very friendly. I'm just the type of patient who would prefer if my doctor talked me through each step during a procedure, especially since this is my first pregnancy, and that did not occur during the visit. He was very patient and conversational after the examination. The only other hiccup was when I called and emailed them to make sure they would send over my information to my new OB-GYN, and learned that they hadn't on the day of my next appointment, which caused some confusion and delay.

I'm on the fence about looking for another doctor. He's extremely disorganized and his bedside manner needs work. The nurses seem unprofessional and scatter-brained as well.
I have a fairly serious condition and never seem to leave reassured or with full information. I've had procedures (biopsies) done there and did not get anywhere near the standard of care that I'm used to. With my condition though it's hard to start something new and keep up a treatment plan so he gets one more chance before I go running.

They called the day before to confirm and the day of my appointment. That's cool, but when I went to give a urine sample, there was a cup (no cover), full of urine... it made me nauseous... He took me to his office to talk but everything was at snails pace. My two minute exam took an hour and half... Also in the exam room there was not a lid for the bin. I'd rather not see what someone else was examined on or used... All in all, I'll keep my current GYN in Riverdale... He may be a backup.

This was my first visit to Dr. Daus. His receptionist was very friendly and helpful. I was called back to begin my visit by the M.A. Heather. I was not overly impressed with her or my visit. I had to have some blood tests done and it was almost a week before anyone contacted me about my lab results. I called the office to find out the results and I spoke with Heather. She said she would call be back after she talked to the doctor. She never did. I am not sure I will b e going back.
