Dr. Kevin Huff completed his optometric degree at the Southern California College of Optometry, where he graduated magna cum laude and earned acceptance into the Beta Sigma Kappa honorary society. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Arizona, which he attended on a baseball scholarship.
In addition to his expertise in general optometry, Dr. Huff has significant experience in low vision rehabilitation. Dr. Huff served as clinical adjunct faculty for the Southern California College of Optometry, training fourth year optometric interns in Ocular Disease Management and Low Vision Rehabilitation. In addition, he has lectured extensively both locally and nationally on the management of patients who are blind or visually impaired, and serves on the board of the Vision Rehabilitation and Technology Expo.
Dr. Huff has an extensive background in contact lens fitting. He enjoys helping patients to eliminate their dependence on glasses through the use of contact lens fitting techniques, including monovision and multifocal lenses.
Dr. Huff played college baseball and has several family members who played professional sports. This led him to develop a special interest in sports vision. He works with athletes at all levels, from the weekend warrior to the professional. He strives to help them achieve their peak performance by fitting them with the latest technology available in glasses, contacts, and discussing options for refractive surgery.
Dr. Huff is a native Arizonan, growing up just miles away from the Tozer Eye Center. He enjoys spending his free time with his wife and two daughters.

perwonal friend of the Dr. As a new patient, first visit, I waited over 30 minutes. had I not know the Dr, I would have left and never come back. No excuse for habitually running late on appoinments, which per the patients waiting, is customary.

I completed all of my paperwork online, which saved me time in the waiting room. I did not feel rushed during my visit. His technician took most of my eye information and was very kind and professional. I was then taken to a second examination room where Dr. Huff performed a few more tests and was very thorough. He explained all of my information. I would highly recommend going to Dr. Huff.
At checkin and checkout the front desk was also very kind. I heard several of them on the telephone speaking with clients/possible clients and they were never rude and seemed to give accurate information (the same as I had received). I did not hear any names or confidential information mentioned.

Busy office, and justifiably so. Efficient yet personable doctor and staff. Dr. Huff had the instinct to look beyond the most obvious ... beginning of cataracts ... to further test retinas where macular puckers were found that better explained variably blurred vision.

If I was not referred to ZocDoc by Dr. Huff's office my mom would not have gotten an appointment for weeks. She is 81 years old and was diagnosed with 2 diseases in her eye. We are so glad she was diagnosed earlier. Had we waited it could have been a lot worse. Thanks. Betsy

I found Dr Huff to be very professional and he spent a good amount of time in my exam and consult. My concern is in how much time was spent waiting for the doctor. My appointment was a 3pm, the doctor saw me at 4. He kindly explained that they had a number of emergencies and it being a Friday before a long weekend I could see that happening. I strongly suggest the front office and doctor assistants keep their patients informed of delays. It would alleviate the feeling of being forgotten.

Loved their friendly office staff and the assistant who did all the pre-tests before the exam. I had questions which were answered and no rush feel at all. I then moved to order glasses and contacts and they were just as nice and accommodating. I look forward to continue future visits as I settle in to my new digs in AZ.

Very welcoming office. Professional staff and good attention to detail. Doctor was friendly and informative. Did not try to dazzle me with medical mumbo jumbo. The only slight issue was that when I arrived at the office, the receptionist did not have the paperwork that I filled out online to avoid having to do it in the office. After some running around, she and another lady were able to find it. Beyond that, I am totally impressed and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.
