my three year old boy has seen many doctors since our family's moved around so much. he's enjoyed every visit and liked every doctor except for the last - the pediatrician he most recently saw before Dr. Koved is described to me as "spooky", so i didn't question it and went on an exhaustive search for another pediatrician. not much came up on review boards under the practice's name so i googled for its doctors. then i discovered Dr. Oved and googled him. he gets high ratings all popular medical review boards. sooo... okay, he passes the first requirement. is he available or will i be "new patient, wait-listed"? great - he's available!! i scheduled the well-check online, saw him today and really can't give enough kudos to him and his staff. Dr. Koved was great with my boy and treated him with kid gloves without treating him like a kid. (My son had a bad experience from the last doctor checking his ears but Dr. Koved knew just how to handle it and in seconds.. as if it was never an issue, my boy said it was ok to check his ears!!!!) And with me? Well, he was professional and gave great advice without being the least bit condescending or judgmental. I left informed and with a happy kid that got stickers and his pick of a toy out of a treasure chest - AHOY!!
All Star Pediatrics is a local gem i want to see thrive as i am sure to be back in a year unless my boy gets himself in a medical jam first.

When we got there we were early but within 15 minutes we were taken back to my daughters room. The staff were friendly, and the office was neat and clean. The Dr was running a few minutes behind, but was nice enough to come in and tell us,even though the wait wasn't bad-maybe 5 minutes at the most, it was still appreciated. He reviewed my daughters records, answered my questions and set my mind at ease. He has a great bedside manner and my daughter really enjoyed the visit as well.

Kfir Oved, MD, husband and father, is a board certified Pediatrician and Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He accomplished his pediatric internship and residency at Schneider Children’s Hospital of New York. He has worked as an attending pediatrician at St Luke’s Medical Center and Roosevelt Hospital in New York. Following his training, Dr Oved worked for several years in a hospital setting where he gained hands on experience in high profile pediatric and neonatal intensive care units as well as general pediatric inpatient care. Afterwards, he and his wife were eager to return to place of their youth. experience in New York he was eager to return to the place of his youth in Texas. In pursuing his passion and lifelong dream he has recently designed and built every detail of his clinic with his patients in mind.
Dr. Oved’s approach to treating his patients provides a combination of traditional and modern medicine. His admiration for children as well as the art of medicine has naturally moved him in the direction of pediatric primary care medicine. His belief in preventative care has led him to encourage his patients to pursue healthy, active lifestyles and emphasize anticipatory guidance in each office visit.

This was our first visit and we are so impressed! The office staff was very friendly and welcoming. Dr. Oved is terrific! He took his time and answered our questions. My children love him. We definitely recommend Dr. Oved!
