Khalilah’s treatment philosophy draws from diverse experience and theoretical approaches. Treatment is individualized, collaborative, and aimed at understanding underlying conflicts, clarifying life goals, and making substantive behavioral changes to enable you to live life in a more introspective, mindful way that leads to greater fulfillment. Khalilah LaRue has been practicing for the past 17 years, specializing in up-to-date scientific information about evidence-based treatment alternatives. She is committed to collaborating with her clients and providing individualized treatment options, empowering clients to make informed decisions.
Khalilah earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Walden University and holds a Master’s degree in Adult Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing from The Ohio State University.

My appointment was a waste of time. The nurse has listed a condition that she provides medication management for, but she makes you do 12 weeks using unhelpful medications before she will prescibe what you actually need. I have psychological testing done and a diagnosis but she wanted me to back track and start all over at the beginning.

I was a bit skeptical of the idea of virtual appointments @ first, this was something I have never done prior to this first appointment. I'm sure there are many of you out there who can somehow relate to my situation and my advice to you is GO FOR IT! I CANNOT SPEAK FOR OTHER PHYSICIANS who offer telehealth and telemedicine visits but THIS PARTICULAR PHYSICIAN, I CAN & I must admit that I do not think that my very first time approaching my Healthcare needs this way, as well as my first impression of what to expect would have nor could have gone ANY BETTER @ ALL if I was meeting a different physician. I highly recommend her, she listens to her patients and from my personal experience, she understands and wants the best possible route taken for each individual, whether that route is easily and conveniently established or if its a process of trial and error until the RIGHT regimen, formula, plan ect is reached for the best quality of life possible for her patients present and future.
