Patient reviews for Dr. Khurram Rashid
It was good visit, and Dr Rashid is a great provider. My only wish is that the office staff was a bit more prepared and that health screening results were updated in the patient portal in a much more timely manner.
The doctor who saw me was fantastic. The only issue I had was scheduling the appointment. Otherwise great!
Pretty typical office visit for a check up. Probably had to wait about 10 minutes past my appointment time, which is not unusual in my experience (especially late in the day). All the staff members were pleasant and accommodating. I only spoke with Dr. Rashid briefly during the physical examination since I don’t have much by the way of health complaints, but he didn’t seem hurried or in a rush and answered all my questions. I found his bedside manner quite pleasant and have overall positive feelings about my visit.
He was great. He sat down and spoke with me in regards to bettering my health and posture.
This office is one of the worst doctor's offices I have ever been to. Besides the fact that it is messy and disorganized, they are terribly unresponsive via phone or their patient portal. I sent several messages and called several times about an MRI appointment I was supposed to get. The office where I was going to get the MRI let me know that it had not been authorized by insurance and that my doctor needed to give them a call. My doctor never called and after I tried reaching out to Dr. Rashid and the MedicsUSA office SEVERAL times, I never heard back and was unable to get my MRI. After they rescheduled my MRI, Dr. Rashid was supposed to call and try to get authorization in time- of course, he never did and I never got ahold of anyone to talk to. Terrible office- please if you can go somewhere else where you will actually be cared for.
Very engaging and knowledgeable!
When i arrived there i was greeted by the receptionist and i didnt wait long when i got to the back didnt wait long back there either the Dr. came in and greeted me and asked me some questions. He was very through he listened and came up with a plan.
I had an appointment & I was in & out in 30 minutes! Dr Rashid is competent, professional and a good listener.
He was very nice to me
Great office and great doctor. Very professional and friendly.
Wonderful people, no wait. The only concern is they seem to squeeze money out of you.
Dr. Rashid was a great when i was in the room. but to be honest, i wouldnt recommend this practice to anyone. once you leave the office, the patient care drops to 0. insurance and pharmacy called me three times to state that they were getting absolutely no help from the office regarding authorization for Rx prescribed by Dr. Rashid. I spoke to three different techs who assured me it was going to be taken care of.... it has yet to be - one month later. i called in to speak with a manager or request a call back. a tech tried her best to get me to take "an alternate route". i work in ophthalmology as a tech.. so its farely easy to pick up poor customer care. i chose this dr. as my primary... and quickly changed after experiencing this.
The most thorough and yet concise annual physical I’ve had. Dr. Rashid was attentive and informative. I’m thrilled I found a new GP.
Ok I guess
It was a very friendly office who helped me figure out everything I needed to know.
Dr. Rashid was very professional, and the office is very organized and efficient.
Overall good. Waited 45 mins to be seen.
Unnecessary follow-up for vitamin deficiencies. I made the most of the visit, but this could have been handled through their portal easily.
I got to the office early and they were able to see me earlier. I liked that they had a questionnaire for mental health too and Dr. Rashid took some time to listen to me. I was in and out in less than half hour and I don’t t feel like it was rushed at all.
I felt he was trusted and look forward to building a patient to Dr. relationship.
Super professional, gave good information
Did not take my insurance
Staff was great! Doctor was very quick and concerned. Bedside manner was good! Whole appointment took 45 min max and I was a new patient with paperwork to fill out.
He was very respectful. He listened to my symptoms and concerns, and took me more seriously than most of doctors I've seen in my life.
He picked up on it right away that my son was missing some shots that was needed, had made recommendations for his acne on his face along with a prescription. My son got the attention that he never would have gotten under Unity clinic.
Worst paps ever. He barely talked and just checked me right away. Don't visit him.
I would recommend Dr. Rashid and his staff - all very professional. However, I had a 2:30 appointment and because they were going to draw blood, I had to fast. I got there at 2:15 knowing I'd have to fill out new patient information. Finally at 3:50, I went to reception and told them because of my hypoglycemia, I was feeling light headed & dizzy. I finally got into an exam room at 4:00. If I were a walk-in, I'd expect to wait but for a person having an appointment that included fasting, I feel that patient should be seen on time. I am returning to see Dr. Rashid to discuss my test results and I look forward to getting his wellness recommendations.
Nice didn't wait everyone was friendly and professional
Dr. Rashid demonstrated a reassuring, straightforward bedside manner and his staff is uncommonly kind. I intend to see him regularly.
My appointment was 2pm but I wasn't seen 3pm.
Very accurate and professional. Felt comfortable at all times. Good follow up
This was my second trip to this Dr. Rashid's office. In both instances, I had wait over a half an hour past my appointment time. While annoying, I understand that doctors get backed up. But what was far less excusable was the wait time I was subjected to once I had been called. It took 40 minutes from the time a PA first saw me until the time they began the simple, 10 minute long procedure I was there for. At one point, a different PA than the first poked his head in, asked me the name of my PA, then said he'd be right back. I never saw him again, instead, a confused Dr. Rashid came in 15 minutes later, expecting to find me all done and ready for him to quickly review. Nope! I hadn't even been told what procedure, exactly, would be done. All in, I spent an hour and forty minutes in the office for a 10 minute long procedure. From Dr. Rashid, I received no apology but instead arrogant responses to my questions, and no less than four reminders to schedule a physical examination with him. Needless to say, I'll be getting that done elsewhere.
The waiting time in the office need to improve!! I have been waiting for 30 mins passed my 11am appointment. Not cool.
Excellent initial care and support as well as follow up!
Disgustingly messy office with samples sitting out on the counter. Unprofessional office staff who swore in front of clients and complained about coworkers to customers. An awful experience.
Dr. Rashid is an excellent physician that appears to have a great understanding of how to treat patients effectively. He was able to diagnose my ailment within minutes of my consultation. He was extremely friendly and kind. Great doc overall.
Came in as a new patient for an annual check-up and was in and out in 1 hour. Dr. Rashid was very professional. I agree the practice could do a better job integrating the information provided on ZocDoc with their two internal systems. Will definitely recommend!
Everything was ok.
Rashid is a very professional doctor and talk to you about your diagnostic. He was pretty quick and efficient. His staff is also professional and efficient. Very recomendable!
I was happy with the doctor in terms of diagnosis and prescribed treatments. However, it was a bit frustrating to have to fill out detailed information on paper at the doctor's office, as most (if not all) of the details had already been entered through the app prior to signing up for the appointment.
Dr. Rashid is great. However, be warned that this office does not actually ever access any of the information on ZocDoc except the existence of the appointment itself. The receptionists (one of whom yes is exceptionally terse and impatient) had record of my appointment but no record of the forms I filled out online. She told me she does not have any way to access them. Anyway, great doctor, terse receptionist, fine experience as long as you don't mind filling out your paperwork twice.
Doctor was very professional and gave good advice
Long wait time
Very professional he will be my Doctor until he retire.
Almost no waiting time, beautiful, spacious and clean premises, kind and capable staff. Doctor Rashid was very attentive, made sure all my questions were answered and, miraculously, my prescription was ready just down the street by the time I left Dr. Rashid's office. Make sure you come with the address and phone number of your preferred pharmacy, Their prescription filling process is modern and automated, and they can send it to your preferred pharmacy right away even while you wrap up your visit, so it will be ready to pick up on your way.
You need to really work on your productivity. Like for real! Why in the world was I waiting for nearly two hours when my appointment was scheduled and confirmed. That's unbelievable to me! I will never come back there. Plus, why are we able to hear everything that goes on behind those walls. Please regroup and then do everything differently.
He was polite, professional and friendly. Diagnosed my issues quickly and found solutions.
