Hi, I wanted to introduce myself to you all! My name is Kian and I am the owner and practitioner of Kian Wellness .
I am a licensed acupuncturist and doctor of acupuncture. I have been practicing acupuncture since 2011 under the supervision of the best acupuncturists and board licensed for over 5 years.
I decided to become an acupuncturist after working as a dental hygienist for over 20 years, and my back pain was awful. I was amazed how much pain relief I experienced from receiving acupuncture. It inspired me to get a higher education in a field that is vast and allows me to make a positive impact on someone’s life.
What I feel is so unique about acupuncture is that I can assess a patient’s condition by simply taking their pulse, observing their tongue and orthopedic muscle testing to improve their overall health and reduce pain quickly. It’s like healing magic!
In my practice, I use a variety of modalities such as acupuncture needles, cupping, gua sha, electro stimulation , prescriptions for Chinese herbal formulas and nutritional supplements.
My specialities are treating difficult cases such as pain management, dementia, parkinson’s, MS, strokes neurological diseases and cosmetic acupuncture. It gives me JOY to help these individuals have a better quality of life. To offer them love and care when many other practitioners have given up on them.
The best advice I can give to my patients is to keep moving gently and eating healthy. To stay away from anything that is not natural to our body. Most of all, to lean on your inner wisdom for your health by being your own health advocate.
Making an impact on people and their health has had a profound effect on my life. My life goal is to provide the best care possible for all my patients.
