As a family nurse practitioner, Kiery Glover is very passionate about delivering exceptional care and treatment to her patients. Kiery began her career in medicine as a graduate from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing in 2009. After graduation, she joined the Oncology unit at UAMS to begin her career at one of the leading educational hospitals in Arkansas. After a year in the oncology unit, she moved back to Texarkana, her hometown, to join the emergency department at Christus St. Michaels Hospital. In her 5 years in the ED, she learned to care for acutely ill patients and the value of rapid response delivered with great bedside manner. While honing her skills in the ED, Kiery returned to UAMS in January of 2012 to further her education. Kiery earned her Master’s degree in nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner, graduating with honors and as a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International honor society, in December of 2014. After graduation, she moved to Dallas, TX, to begin her new career as a FNP at the clinic of Dr. Salma Mazhar. Kiery is thrilled to be a part of this growing clinic and to have the opportunity to work with such a passionate team of providers. In her spare time, Kiery enjoys leading an active, healthy lifestyle, participating in Crossfit and many other outdoor activities.
