Nothing is worse than a doctor who makes you feel inadequate as a mother. I came in for a well child visit, at the same time having my son's vomiting as a main concern, Dr. Barksdale did not spend any time addressing the imminent issue about vomiting but instead, grilled me for my son's inability to tie two words together (he is less than 2yrs old) and eating habits. This was the conclusion of our 15 minute meeting, no where did she mention any recommendations for his possible stomach flu! Because of this I am having to set up another meeting with a more capable doctor, someone who can actually diagnose my son. I should have known based on the empty appointments what a disappointment Dr. Barksdale is! Please do not waste your time,do not go here.
