Unsettled by the healthcare disparities, she decided to take action by pursuing a career in advanced practice. In 2015, Kimberly graduated with Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas Health and Science Center in Houston. Shortly thereafter, she established Kimberly Cares where she is today delivering top-notch, cost-effective care to community residents and veterans. Kimberly is a mother of two who served eight years in the Navy, and she is currently a commissioned Captain in the Air Force as flight nurse. Kimberly is credentialed through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is a member of several other professional organizations.

Upon arrival the window to speak to the receptionist was closed so I wasn’t acknowledged for about 15 min and then it took about an hour for me to be seen. Outside of me recommending a more open and welcoming environment upon arrival and then overall punctuality, I loved my provider and the staff were very nice.

I recently scheduled an appointment at Kimberly Cares. Upon my arrival everyone was so polite. Watching the way the staff interacted with each other made me want to work there. It was such a happy environment. The waiting room was not over packed with people which made me feel like I was going to have time to discuss my concerns. I have not been to the doctor in a couple of years and was experiencing tremendous health anxiety because of that. Kimberly was so patient with me and addressed all of my questions and concerns. I felt heard and I really appreciate that. I highly recommend Kimberly Cares.

1st visit, 1st impression, was not good. Forms clearly stated my reason for visit, concerns, etc. The medical assistant and I thoroughly went over health history, concerns, etc. before exam with provider. Although provider was friendly, she did not take time to discuss my health concerns, she was quick and waisted no time to move on and out to next patient, exam was 5 minutes top, rushed. The male lab employee commented female patients came in looking nice but after their lab results he was turned off, which is completely unprofessional. Once lab results were in, again provider did not contact
me to explain results, had someone else in the office to call with results, who literally could not clearly explain results, sounded like a google search reading, which made me extremely uneasy and uncomfortable. I have never experience this type of provider to patient communication. I am presently seeking a more experienced provider with patience and better communication, time management and listening skills.

Dr. Kimberly and her staff were AMAZING! I felt so comfortable speaking to her about my pains and concerns. She took me seriously, didn't dismiss me. I recommend her to anyone that wants to be seen by a caring Dr.

I was in search of a new provider and it's safe to say I will look no further. In 34 years I have never been to such a pleasant office as Dr. Kim office. From the moment I walked in I was acknowledged, and handled with care. The entire staff from check in to blood work to my actual exam was really a breath of fresh air (I've literally been bragging too anyone who will listen about my appointment). They welcome me with open arms. Made me feel comfortable talking about my concerns. The doctor listened to me and answered every question I may have had. Explained everything with details and gave options that may be better for me. Truly grateful to see there are still doctors that really care for their patients.
