Welcome to the office of Dr. Kim Richards! With over 10 years experience in the field of Addiction Medicine, my practice focuses on helping those individuals who are dependent on alcohol and drugs. While I am not a psychiatrist, I believe in a multi-step approach; first stop the primary problem, then work on replacing destructive thinking that turns into actions with better coping tools, and finally allowing patients to test their new tools on real-life situations before having them handle it on their own. As you can see, this is not a quick approach, but it is one in which I have had great success. I do take most major insurances; a self pay office visit with insurance coverage of medications is also an option on insurances that I am not a participating provider. For those without insurance, I offer a self pay option and will try to keep your costs as reasonable as possible.

Everyone in the office is extremely nice and they always help/answer any questions I might have. There is never a long wait and Dr. Richards actually listens to me and you smile!! She genuinely cares by the advice she gives. Highly recommend.
