Dr. Knoelle Park is a board-certified adult psychiatrist who is joining the Talkiatry team to begin her post-residency career. Dr. Park knows a patient is much more than an illness. With empathic listening, she collaborates with her clients to understand their background, values, and goals for treatment. Although her practice focuses on medication management, she strives to incorporate modalities such as supportive therapy to enhance treatment and will encourage her clients to seek more intensive therapy when indicated.
Dr. Park completed her undergraduate training at the University of Texas at Austin and subsequently received her medical degree from the University of North Texas Health Science Center Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth. She recently completed her general adult psychiatry training at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX. Dr. Park focuses on treating the adult population between the ages of 18-65 years. She utilizes both psychopharmacologic and psychotherapeutic treatment interventions. She has experience treating a wide range of diagnoses including depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, panic attacks, insomnia, psychotic disorders, PTSD, and OCD.

The appointment didn’t feel rushed and I felt like I could go into details when answering questions. I would highly recommend Dr. Knoelle Park. It's always so nerve-wracking trying to find a provider who will not only be able to provide you with the best patient care possible, but also listen with intent. I felt safe and comfortable opening up to Dr. Park about my concerns. I really appreciated her willingness and enthusiasm to continue managing me as her patient and am actually already looking forward to our next appointment. Really great interaction with the provider. She was professional, but easy going and easy to relate to. She has great analogies.
The initial sign up with Talkiatry and their portal called Healow was a little confusing, but it all worked out.
One odd thing with ZocDoc is that the appointment I booked on ZocDoc was for 10am, but the appointment with the provider ended up being 11am. Even the reminders were an hour off of each other.
