Serving the residents of Austin, Dr. Koushik Shaw provides quality urological care in in private, comfortable, and safe environment. Dr. Shaw offers a broad range of procedures with specialties in minimally invasive and robotic laparoscopic surgery.
As a member of the first da Vinci Robotic Surgery Program, Dr. Shaw has long been recognized by his peers as a leader in the field of urology. Besides being an active member of several major medical societies, Dr. Shaw has also been featured as a guest on ABC, NBC, and CBS to discuss urologic issues with the Austin community. He has published a book entitled, “How to Find the Right Job After Residency” for young doctors searching for the right professional path.
When Dr. Shaw is not practicing medicine, he can be seen volunteering at the Breakthrough Organization, which assists low income grade-school students in becoming first-generation college graduates. He also enjoys running on Town Lake, spending time near the water, and exploring Austin with his wife. Dr. Shaw is the proud owner of a dog and a fish.
