I have had a hard time finding a great OB-GYN in DC area. I previously tried a different doctor on zodoc and he was awful. I tried finding someone on my own and they were awful. But Dr. Gorelik was great. She had a resident with her that was also great. I had numerous concerns, not all related to OB-GYN stuff but she listened to everything and made sure all my concerns were talked and addressed. Some Doctors will mention time constraints and wont go into everything. But she made me feel comfortable and relaxed and pressured by time. I am glad she is my new OB!

Loved how attentive she was and all the information she gave me regarding all of my questions and concerns. She was great! I would recommend her to any woman especially making an awkward apt feel just fine :)

Dr. Kristin Gorelik is an obstetrician/gynecologist with The GW Medical Faculty Associates and an assistant professor of Obstetrics & Gynecology with The George Washington University School of Medicine & Health Sciences. She received her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry & Cell Biology at the University of California, San Diego where she also studied Healthcare & Social Issues. She then earned her medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School, where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Honors Society. She returned to UCSD to complete her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency. In her final year of residency, she served as administrative chief resident and earned the “Special Resident in Minimally Invasive Gynecology” award.
Dr. Gorelik has pursued special training in contraceptive techniques, including surgical and nonsurgical permanent sterilization and long-acting reversible contraception. Her clinical interests include minimally invasive and laparoscopic gynecologic surgery, family planning, and obstetrics, and she is passionate about continuing education.

The doctor was amazing! She was very nice and made me feel extremely comfortable. However, I had to wait more than two hours to be seen and to get out of there. My appointment was at 2:15 and didn't leave the office until after 4:30

Although I was taken back, had my vitals checked and initial questions asked very quickly.. I then waited another 45 minutes before I saw a doctor. All in all my visit was 2.5 hours.
