Very abrupt and doesn't explain things at all.

I was left waiting with no explanation. Another patient who came in after me was seen first and no apology was given for the wait. I was in a room right next to the doctors office and could hear conversations with other patients because her door was open as well.
Furthermore, I did not appreciate her condescending attitude towards me. It is my decision if I choose to use birth control, and I do not appreciate her acting as though I consider pregnancy a flip decision. I am well aware of the risks and benefits and did not ask nor want her opinion.
I also do not appreciate her telling me I don't take care of myself, and need to tell my family I require an hour a day for myself. Again, opinion not asked for or wanted.

I feel rushed during my appointments. I get the impression she is in a hurry from her fast talking and cutting me off. I also feel like I am not being listened to as a patient I called her office last week to ask a question for the doctor. They promised my call would be returned last Wednesday. I am still waiting for a return phone call with answers to my questions. I am nervous about needing surgery and my fears and questions have not been met with reassurance that I was making the right decision.

Everyone from the front desk nurse to Dr. Pelagalli is very nice and welcoming.All my questions were answered thoroughly.I felt very comfortable with what can often be an uncomfortable exam.=)
