This was the best appointment I have ever had with a medical professional, and especially a mental health professional. I felt so listened to and seen in an unprecedented, down-to-earth, transparent way. Things about the way my brain works were elucidated to me in a way that made me overwhelmingly emotional and grateful.
Kris gave an extremely clear run down of all the treatments available to me, pharmacologically and also through lifestyle changes. It is the exact clear thing I need as someone with ADHD.
I couldn't recommend a better doctor to see for someone struggling with ADHD or wondering if they have it.

I could not possible say enough good things about my appointment with NP Dr Generales. He was not only extremely knowledgeable about my condition, he was also warm, compassionate and highly intuitive. In our very first meeting, it felt like he'd known me for years. His questions and observations were spot on; Every one of his responses to the thoughts and feelings I shared were actually helpful! I am a grown woman with years of therapy under my belt and I honestly felt -for the first time- like a practitioner in the mental health field got me. I'm truly grateful.

This is the second time I have tried to book with Orenda. Both times, I was contacted quickly after the appointment was set to be moved to a different provider. After they did this a second time, I canceled the appointment 20 minutes after it was "confirmed." I did not actively sign a form agreeing to this but my guess is it was within the ZocDoc agreement you are asked to agree to.
The office did not respond to my cancellation so I reached out again the following morning (the day of the appt.) Again, the email was ignored.
I was charged the high cancellation fee despite communicating by 2 emails and texts I wished to cancel.
Although I did not have the pleasure of meeting Dr. Generales, I would recommend you steer wide and clear of this practice. In my experience, their policy is to book appointments with highly rated providers and then immediately turf you to a newer provider. Not cool!

Find another health care provider. Hes greedy and his practice is a money grab. Refuses to prescribe refills and forces patients to see him more than any other psychiatrist, i had to see him every two weeks than every 30 days to maintain my refills on non-addictive, non-dangerous medication. All so he can get checks. When i lost my job and insurance his office became rude and standoffish and when i asked about payment plans they scoffed. For context, my medication was 10mg lexapro and they forced multiple sessions for me to get prescribed that medication by him even tho they were aware i had been on for 14 months already and was about to have a gap in my coverage. Doesn’t care about patients just wants to line his pockets.

Kris is great! Very good listener, connected the dots well, communicated a clear plan forward, and has availability for a timely follow up.
