Originally from Southern California, Dr. Bedi has relocated to the Chicago area. Dr. Bedi has had many leadership positions during his medical career. He most recently served as the Junior Fellow Chairman from the state of Connecticut for the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists in District I.
As a medical student, he held offices of President in the student Ob/Gyn and student ACOFP organizations and in addition was appointed as a student Ambassador at Midwestern University. As a resident, Dr. Bedi was given the award of outstanding resident in laparoscopic skills by the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists.
Dr. Bedi’s special interests lie in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery. His special interests are Robotic surgery, laparoscopic treatment of uterine fibroids, and in medical education. He is active in the education of medical students and residents at the University of Illinois at Chicago and Midwestern University.
Dr. Bedi and his wife live in the city of Chicago, where they enjoy musical theatre and cuisine. Dr. Bedi speaks Spanish and looks forward to providing health care to the Hispanic community. In a past life, Dr. Bedi played baseball professionally as a pitcher.

Very nice man. However, I specifically requested a surgical consult and as it turns out Dr. Bendi is no longer available for surgery. The office staff while very friendly is not very efficient. I had a great deal of difficulty getting my medical history to them electronically. They kept asking me for it and I thought they were referring to zoc doc which I had filled out but apparently they wanted their own filled out but failed to email it to me. Finally the misunderstanding was corrected and I was told that they found it through zoc doc and would copy the info to their records but I had to go through it all again once arriving.Finally, Dr. Bendi referred me to his coworker for the procedure which was great with me. I was told I would be receiving a call later in the day to schedule and dot the i's cross the t's kind of thing that was three days ago and I've received no calls.
