Dr. Martin is a superb therapist. He is kind and personable, and he listens and offers excellent suggestions and advice. He is knowledgeable and intuitive, with keen insights on very complex issues. I appreciate his suggestions and his ability to make me feel "listened" to. This quality of being a good listener seems essential to me. Overall, he is dedicated and professional and I value his counsel.

As a licensed Clinical Psychologist in NYC for the past 20 years, I am trained and experienced in providing psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, humanistic and mindfulness-based psychotherapies to treat a broad spectrum of mental health conditions and life circumstances. I have worked extensively with people who have endured intense traumas, who experience mood-related conditions like depression, anxiety and self-concept struggles, who have impulse control and anger management concerns, and others whose focus in their therapy is on the process of flourishing and optimizing their creative process. I worked with Kris for several months. He helped me work though some challenges I had been facing. He is compassionate, empathetic, understanding. I felt very comfortabe working with him and will not hesitate to see hm again. I can recommend him wthut hesitation.

I could never predict I would experience a traumatic relationship break-up involving physical violence. Yet, a few years ago, I saw myself in that situation. Kris has made a significant impact on my healing journey. Throughout our six-month collaboration, Kris created a safe and supportive environment for me to process and make sense of my experiences. His guidance and encouragement reminded me of my own strength and resilience, even in the face of uncertainty and the complexities of legal matters. Kris equipped me with practical tools to restart my life and navigate the challenges of a new beginning in a foreign country. I am eternally grateful for his expertise and compassionate approach. Dr. Martin is warm, empathetic and non-judgmental. He re-frames stressful and painful situations of mine so that I can move through them in more effective ways . He helps me to see beyond my obstacles, reminding me of the things I’ve successfully overcome. He points out and reinforces my positive traits, behaviors and choices so that I can continue to thrive in my life. I’m always amazed at how he mines through the seemingly frivolous and mundane aspects of my life and finds important things to discuss and explore. I highly recommend Dr. Martin!
