Krystal is such a supportive and down-to-earth dietitian. I came in feeling completely overwhelmed by all the nutrition advice online and unsure of what would actually work for me. She immediately put me at ease with her humor, compassion, and practical tips. I love that she helps me manage my blood sugar without giving up the foods I enjoy—she even encouraged me to keep cultural foods on my plate, which was really important to me. Our sessions never feel rushed or judgmental; instead, Krystal listens and helps me create realistic changes that actually fit into my life. I’ve already noticed more energy, less stress around food, and more confidence in knowing how to take care of myself. She truly gets it on both a professional and personal level, and I’m so glad I found her

More about Krystal Martinez, RDN, RD

This provider is not licensed in the state of TX, MA, OK, OR, PA, VT, WA, HI. Feeling overwhelmed by all the nutrition advice on social media? Wondering what’s actually legit and what’s just another wellness trend? You’re not alone! Nutrition is a science—it’s constantly evolving—and it can feel confusing trying to figure out what works for you and your unique needs. Hi, I’m Krystal, a Registered Dietitian here to support you in building a more peaceful and empowered relationship with food, your body, and your health. I support clients navigating Prediabetes, Type 2 Diabetes, PCOS, Digestive Issues, and their relationship with food. Whether you’re trying to manage blood sugar without giving up your favorite foods (yes, tacos included), or you’re just tired of feeling like food is a puzzle you can’t solve. I’m here for that. I get it on a personal level, too. As someone who’s lived with stomach sensitivities since childhood, I know firsthand how difficult it can be to make peace with food while figuring out what your body can tolerate. In a world that moves fast, it’s easy to tune out your body’s signals. But together, we’ll slow down and explore how simple, sustainable lifestyle shifts, an individualized approach can make a meaningful difference in your health and energy. Before becoming a dietitian, I worked in community health clinics, food access programs, and a catering kitchen (yes I love food!). That taught me something important: our relationship with food is shaped by much more than willpower. Culture, access, time, health, emotions—it all matters. As a first-generation Mexican American, I’m passionate about helping people keep their cultural foods on the plate, not take them away. Food is connection, comfort, identity, and joy. You don’t have to trade that in for health. We can have both.
