Dr. Kutty Chandran has specialized in the medical care of South Florida residents since 1990. He earned his medical degree from Ross University in 1983 and completed his Internal Medicine residency as Chief Medical Resident at St. Elizabeth hospital in New Jersey. Dr. Chandran is Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Addiction Medicine, but focuses on Internal Medicine in his private practice.
Dr. Chandran has been an integral part of the Coral Springs medical community for 30 years and is currently serving as the Chief Medical Officer of Broward Health Coral Springs. From 2007 to 2009, Dr. Chandran was elected Chief of Staff at Broward Health Coral Springs after having previously served as the Vice Chief of Staff, Vice Chairman, and Chairman within the department of medicine. With these commitments, Dr. Chandran was awarded special recognition by the City of Coral Springs in 2011.
Expanding beyond Coral Springs, Dr. Chandran has also served as an advocate for South Florida physicians as the former President of the Broward County Medical Association. He is also passionate about medical education and is currently a clinical preceptor for the Dr. Kiren C Patel College of Allopathic Medicine at Nova Southeastern University.
