Dr. Michelle McReynolds graduated from Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri, in 1992 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology. During optometry school, she was very active in student government, serving first as Class Representative, then Class Vice President from 1998-2000. She also served as Secretary, Beta Sigma Kappa, National Honor Society, and was a member of Student Volunteers of Optometrists Serving Humanity.
Dr. McReynolds graduated summa cum laude and fourth in her class from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee, earning her Doctor of Optometry degree in 2000.
Following optometry school, Dr. McReynolds completed her residency at Veterans Administration Medical Center in Memphis, Tennessee, specializing in ocular disease.
With over ten years of optometry experience, Dr. Michelle McReynolds joined Overland Optical Family Eye Care in 2012. She enjoys primary eye care and fitting contact lenses, and she specializes in managing ocular disease. Some of Dr. McReynolds’ past experience includes working as a staff optometrist at St. Louis Children’s Hospital.
Dr. McReynolds grew up in St. Louis and enjoys a very busy life with her husband and three children.
