About Dr. John J. Konopik
Dr. John Konopik completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Nebraska – Omaha, where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Biotechnology. He then obtained his Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry. Dr. Konopik has been practicing optometry since 2004 and has been with Crown Vision Center since 2005. He chose optometry because it is a science-related field that interested him. His favorite part of being an optometrist is diagnosing ocular diseases.

Appt got rescheduled on one dayMa notice due to a conflict for the dr. I was able to reschedule OK. I spent time scanning my insurance card prior to appt only to find out it didn't get uploaded. I think the tech was new. had not been to the eye dr. in awhile and didn't remember what to expect. She didn't talk me through any of the procedures. It would have been nice to know things like I was going to feel a sudden puff of air in my eye and that I would be seeing very bright lights at times. The doc himself was fine.

I went to address an issue that another doctor didn't take seriously. After looking at the test results he immediately noticed something it the eye I was having trouble with. He helped me set up an appointment with a specialist to continue treatment.

The experience was really great and Dr K is very knowledgeable and kind and I would highly recommend him any time. I just moved here from North Carolina and I can say first impression are lasting impression and I will always remember how kind and in point Dr K is. Thank you for your service.
