LaKeisha Demerson, MD earned her Medical Degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Demerson continued her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at UT Southwestern Medical Center and Parkland Hospital where she was recognized for excellence in student teaching. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Spelman College with a Bachelor of Science Degree. Dr. Demerson is excited to return to her hometown in the greater Houston area to establish her practice.
In addition to a variety of obstetrical and gynecologic conditions, Dr. Demerson’s medical interests include high-risk pregnancies, minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, management of abnormal bleeding, and contraceptive counseling.

Dr. Demerson is great, she really takes the time to listen and make sure that you are doing ok. I have probably seen her about 3 times now. All of the staff is great. Parking has not been an issue. She did get a call to deliver today during my appointment, but she was back promptly and didn’t skip a beat. No one wants to go in for their annual check up, but she is very professional. I can’t say enough good things about her.

I've been a patient for a few years. She has a great bedside manner. She communicates very well and listens. The staff is super friendly and efficient. If she is in a delivery, you are contacted immediately to let you know that you either need to reschedule or she is running late.

The experience is awesome and the staff along with Dr Demerson will make you feel at ease and comfortable. I have been going to this particle office for years when I was a teenager and Dr Abbott who has just about retired if not already done so was my ob/gyn. When Dr Abbott stopped seeing patients just for regular annual check ups she referred me to Dr demerson who at the time was a new Dr that had just not only started working there but it was one of very first jobs right out of college after receiving her degree. I was sceptical at first because I had never seen any other doctor other then Abbott so I didn't know what to expect or if I was gonna be a fan. After the very first visit with Dr demerson, I knew then that she was going to be my forever OB/GYN. I never felt so welcomed and comfortable with a Dr till I met Dr demerson. She not only goes above and beyond the expectation of her degree and as being an ob/gyn but she takes time out with every single patient of hers to get to know them a little on the personal level and remembers family members you mentioned previously about, your kids names, your profession or anything you told her before in the past with no problem. She communicates with you and carries on normal every day life conversation with you. Her bed side manners are the upmost prestige ever and she helps you with anything you come into her office with as far as questions or concerns you have or just need recommendations on. If Dr demerson can't help you out herself then she will make sure she gets your concerns, questions, or whatever it may be answered and figured out by contacting outside sources or by giving you information to read up on and will even refer you to outside the office resources if need be. I would recommend Dr demerson for any woman and it doesn't matter of what age group either because she is all about patient care to a T and makes sure everyone of her patients leaves that office after their appt a happy, pleased and satisfied woman.

I have been going to this particular building since I first started seeing an OBGYN at the age of 16. Dr Abbott was my gynecologist at the time and when she retired Dr demerson has been mine OBGYN since. Dr demerson is a type of doctor who will sit down and talk to you about things going on in your life and actually remembers who you are your family your kids and has an overall loving and caring compassion for her career. I would recommend anybody to go to this place no matter how far the drive. I have never been disappointed..

Asked to show up 15 mins early only to wait in the waiting room 45 mins before being called back to the room. Waited another 30 mins in the back room before being seen for 5 mins. Dr. Demerson was extremely nice and polite though!

My wait for my follow up appointment was terrible! At first they said that she’ll be late for 30 minutes but it took her more than 2 hours to meet me!?! Then I was just sent for a blood work then sent home quicker than you know it!?! I’m already starting to look for a new doctor and clinic. When I left, I felt so bad for all the other patients waiting to be assisted.

The facilities could use a little updating. And the lab technicians could be slightly more friendly. But, overall I had a good experience.

I wasn't expecting quite a wait time since I scheduled an appointment, but the good thing is that the nurses were accommodating and Dr. Demerson was also kind. Dr. Demerson was sooo sweet! I felt very comfortable at her office. She asked if I wanted to do an ultra sound the same day I went in for my first pregnancy appointment and told me it would be about 45 minutes till they could do it and they ended up calling me back almost instantly! Her ultrasound tech was equally as awesome as well! So sweet and had fun with me and my family. I will definitely be returning to this clinic for all of my OB/GYN needs. Thank you Dr. Demerson!
