Dr. Lattimer helped me with some serious stomach and nausea issues. I had two appointments with her as well as two medical procedures, and she was helpful, efficient, and kind throughout everything.

I met with Doctor Lattimer but first I met the doctor that is working with her for the next two months ( I can't remember her name). That being said, I LOVED this second doctor, she made me feel so much better about my condition and had a sensible approach to figuring out what is going on with me. I had an appt. at 2:30 and got called in at 2:35, met with the doctors shortly thereafter. Would definitely recommend.

Lakshmi D.N. Lattimer, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Gastroenterology and Liver Disease. Her clinical interests include colon cancer screening, inflammatory bowel disease, celiac disease, liver disease and the gastrointestinal health of women and minorities.
Dr. Lattimer received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Yale University and earned her medical degree from the Harvard University School of Medicine. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. She completed her fellowship training in Gastroenterology and Liver Disease at George Washington University.
Dr. Lattimer has written publications examining women’s health issues in inflammatory bowel disease, as well as inflammatory bowel disease in minority populations. She has also published several book chapters and abstracts. Her professional memberships include the American Gastroenterology Association and the American College of Gastroenterology.

The doctor didn't even bother to look at me. She just asked what my symptoms were and dismissed my concerns. I actually ended up getting a surgery done with a different doctor. Definitely would not recommend.

She was very kind but also efficient. I felt like she really listened to what I was saying and was willing to explore as many options as possible until we got to the bottom of my medical issue. I'm about to schedule a 4th appointment with her!

Dr Lattimer was a delight, very thorough and personable. She answered all questions and offered a range of treatment options. All the office staff were nice, and my appointment happened right on time.

Did not have to wait long before I was called back into a patient room, and Dr. Lattimer showed up within a few minutes after my diagnostics were taken. She was very professional and also took the time to explain the potential diagnoses for my condition(s). Would definitely see her again!
