Dr. Lani Warren is an attentive, compassionate OB-GYN treating patients in Chesapeake, Norfolk, Portsmouth, Suffolk, Virginia Beach and the surrounding communities. Her primary goal as a practitioner is to ensure that each of her patients receives the highest available standard of medical care. She is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Originally from California, Dr. Warren attended the University of California, Berkeley, for her undergraduate degree. She graduated from the University of Minnesota Medical School. Dr. Warren completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center in San Jose, CA.
Patients visiting Dr. Warren can receive a full range of Obstetric and Gynecological services. She specializes in personalized Obstetric care, with deliveries taking place at Chesapeake Regional Medical Center. She also performs routine Gynecologic exams, assesses fibroids and bleeding problems, performs hysteroscopy and laparoscopy procedures, and screens for hereditary cancer family syndromes. Dr. Warren's practice, Chesapeake Obstetrics and Gynecology, was named one of the best in the Virginian Pilot's Best of Hampton Roads in both 2015 and 2016. When she is not treating patients, Dr. Warren enjoys spending time with her family.

I was very hesitant to see a Gynecologist because of previous bad experience I had. However, this Doctor was extremely professional and guide me through the entire process which made it that much better. I definitely recommend her. The only downside was the bit of wait time but it was definitely worth the visit because of the level of professionalism.

She was always nice and straight forward before . On the last visit She did not know what was wrong with me. She trated me but by the time my follow up appt was cancelex because. I had visited the hospital with same issue and it was handle immediately on the spot. Wish it didnt take that long because it caused more pain and anguish. I think this was just a mishap but suffered for it. I will share in hope it will get better or improve from this point on. Other wise its a nice office.

Dr. Warren delivered my daughter on Oct 3, 2017. I have 2 older children and used different obs for each one due to living in different areas. She is by far my favorite. She gets you in and out, her staff is excellent, everyone is very friendly and she made me feel at ease at every visit. I had a late pregnancy complication and I felt very comfortable with how she handled it. I highly recommend her. It was a positive experience all around. Really could not ask for a better practice.

It was my first visit to a gynecologist, Doc Warren was wonderful. She was pretty professional and explained everything that I don't understand (esp. those terms because I'm not native American).
I'll always go to her office for gynecological concerns.
The only downside is her assistant on the front desk, not very friendly and impatient...

She walked me through everything she was doing, was thorough in he review of my medical history, and had forward thinking recommendations so I would be prepared in case I needed to make decisions on my health before seeing her again (e.g. recommending pre-natal vitamins for when I decide to take that step). When something is wrong and your results are given by a nurse over the phone, sometimes it's really hard to figure out if you should be worried. Luckily I had already made a follow up appointment and the doctor explained everything in a way I could understand it. I know doctors are busy, but a lot of stress could have been avoided if someone had better explained my test results to me on the phone.
