Dr. Paraskos was very nice and listened to everything I had to say. She took her time with me and typed up all of my notes. I am looking forward to reviewing my results with her and taking the next steps. Wait time was minimal.

Very good and nice staff. But the wait time was to much. I was the first app after lunch and still waited 2 hrs for a 20 minutes visit. Not sure if this is on going but it was really to much

Lara Paraskos, MD grew up in Miami, FL. She obtained her International Baccalaureate degree from Gulliver Preparatory School. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Emory University where she was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa honors society, earning her BS in biology and minoring in Italian and math. She went on to receive her medical degree from University of Miami Miller School of Medicine in 2008 and stayed on at Jackson Memorial Hospital/UM to complete her Internal Medicine Residency. After her training, she was chosen to serve as Chief Medical Resident. She then completed her fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism at Jackson Memorial Hospital/ University of Miami. She is board certified in Internal Medicine, Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism and is a Volunteer Clinical Instructor of Medicine at the Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine at Florida International University where she teaches clinical endocrinology to second and third year medical students and family practice residents.

Dr. Paraskos is friendly, efficient, and a good listener. She has a very pleasant demeanor. She read all the scan reports and lab results I brought with me. She did not dismiss any of my concerns or questions. Her staff was very friendly. The only downside of this practice is parking. They may have valet parking which I did not know about. Call and find out if they do. I will absolutely be seeing her again, but next time I will ask about parking ahead of time.

This visit went very well. All the staff was courteous and professional. The patient portal has all the forms online. The doctor really listens to you which shows she cares.
The building has a parking garage so you can go from your car and into the building without getting wet. This was a plus because it was storming on the day of my appointment.
