Dr. Larry Shemen is a Board Certified Otolaryngologist-Head and Neck Surgeon. He specialized in Head and Neck Surgery at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York. Dr. Shemen has written several articles and chapters dealing with thyroid, parathyroid and salivary gland surgery as well as head and neck cancer. He maintains special intererst in the reconstruction of defects after the removal of tumors, specifically facial skin cancers, oral and laryngeal cancers. Additionally, he has special interest in endoscopic sinus surgery, thyroid and parathyroid surgery as well as salivary gland surgery and laser surgery of the face and throat. The office also performs audiometry, sleep studies (polysomnography) and allergy testing.
