It was so good to see Dr. Overstreet again the other day! I had not seen him in a good while. I've spent the last few years dealing with chronic pain and having other surgeries. I initially went to his old office location that used to be by the Kroger on Cascade Road, then I got lost trying to find the downtown location! (I am originally from Atlanta, but I am terrible with navigation and directions, even in my own hometown!) However, they were so kind and courteous to still see me that same day, so I did not mind the wait. Dr. Overstreet delivered my little boy 4 years ago, so of course I had to bring him along. Luckily, my son did not tear the place down!
Dr. Overstreet is one of the VERY FEW doctors left in Atlanta that is compassionate, very knowledgeable about his field, and treats patients like human beings. I cannot say that of most doctors I have been to here. I was heartbroken to know that Dr. Overstreet does not do surgery anymore other than C-sections, and now I need another surgery! However, I can still follow up with him and see him for routine visits when needed. Everyone at Progressive Women's Healthcare was courteous and professional. If you are visiting Dr. Overstreet at his downtown Atlanta Park Place location, be prepared for traffic and paying for parking They do not validate parking. It would be better to take MARTA or just get a Lyft or Uber ride if you're not coming from too far away.
I sincerely hope that Dr. Overstreet never retires, ever! If you are having a baby in Atlanta or need a really good OB/GYN, Dr. Overstreet should be your first and only choice :)!

Wasted my whole day , I am suffering a threatened miscarriage and explained everything to the rep when I booked my appointment as well as provided my insurance information , all for me to get there the day of my appointment and them tell me that my insurance only covers a pregnancy test(I’ve already took 7 test , all positive ) and birth control but that never was mentioned at the time of me scheduling my appointment , they still scheduled me to collect monies from my Medicaid because no service was done and I didn’t get any help and I am possibly losing my baby when I could have went elsewhere . The staff is unfriendly and unpleasant to interact here . I wouldn’t recommend ANYONE to go to this facility!

The medical assistant working for this Doctor and handling how they interface with patients is horrendous. Battled about the referral even though it was hard faxed and copies of that information was sent to my email directly by my doctor. Had ultra sound imaging completed and sent to their office and everything was made aware of the possibility of pregnancy complications and did not care or provide Dr Overstreet with honest information to ensure we received the level of care needed. Do not use this provider if you can avoid it, his team does not care about patients.

This was actually one of the best doctors visits I've had in quite a while. I didn't wait forever to be seen and after being taken to a room, the doctor was right in. I was actually amazed because I came with the mindset that I'd be there forever! I'm a tough one to please and I must say I was very pleased. Oh, and the office and room was very clean.

If you are overweight and not pregnant beware. I asked to have a blood test due to family history. He told me that weight gain is due to me sitting at the dinner table too long and he said i should just push back from the dinner table. In my experience of being never a skinny person, this doctor shouldn't have said this to me the correct response should have been, "would you like to be referred to a nutritionist or a dietician". It's just rude and shallow for a medical professional to treat me this way. I will not be returning ever.
