More about Laura Sansonetti, FNP
Laura was raised in Hawaii and still call it home, where her family and grandchildren still reside.
Her first college degree was a B.S in Exercise Science/Kinesiology through the University of Hawaii at Manoa 1981.
She went to Kapiolani Community College for her ADN in Hawaii and continued through Western Governors University where she completed her BSN and her MSN in nursing education. A year later she went back to school through Eastern Kentucky University and obtained her post masters as a Rural Family Nurse Practitioner and graduated Spring 2019.
She has worked at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas in Trauma for two years and then Texas Health Dallas in Trauma. The last 4 1/2 years, she has worked at Texas Health Plano in their Neuro, Stroke and Spine unit as charge and floor nurse.
She loves to learn as much as she can about her patients and really enjoys being a nurse and nurse practitioner to have the opportunity to teach and treat her patients to be at their optimal health.
