What makes you passionate about being a healthcare provider?
I enjoy helping others and learning about the evolution of science and healthcare. I want to improve access to medicine for underserved populations and encourage ongoing long-term care for patients.
In your opinion, what should be the role of a primary care provider for a patient, taking into account both physical health and behavioral health needs?
A primary care provider should assess the patient's needs and create a healthcare plan to achieve both medical and behavioral health goals collaboratively with the patient. A PCP should be accessible to ensure efficient, long-term care.
Tell us a little bit about yourself. What do you like to do in your spare time?
I am originally from Michigan and have a background in Emergency Medicine and Urgent Care. I earned my Master's in Physician Assistant Studies from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science and hold a Bachelor's degree from the University of Arizona. I enjoy being active-skiing in the winter and playing tennis in the summer-and I love hosting dinner parties for my friends.

Lauren was absolutely perfect and I would definitely return. I have so much anxiety before/during doctor's appointments and Lauren was so patient with me and really listened and made me feel more relaxed when I told her about my fears and past experiences. I've been on a mission to Finally Admit I Live Here after 5 years in LA and Dr. Golding was the first care provider I booked on Zocdoc when I began searching. I came in for blood work but because the technician was going to be at lunch soon they told me to come back to do it on another day. That was upsetting because I fasted that day for this blood work. The technician could either take lunch 5 minutes late or come in to take my blood samples before I talked with the doctor for half an hour. Everything else was great.

Lauren Golding is amazing! I had a Pap smear, breast exam and birthcontrol counseling with her. She was very friendly and quick with the exam no one likes their Pap smear to drag on. I felt very comfortable with her as well. She was thorough and a great listener with all my history she seemed very sincere with helping in anyway she could. I would highly recommend her plus the office was nice and the staff was great!

Lauren is an incredible healthcare provider. She was extremely attentive, great at listening, and provided thoughtful and realistic solutions. She took her time and made sure I understood everything before concluding the visit. I am so happy that I booked this appointment with her, this was by far the best experience I've had with a doctor in my life. I was seen within 2 minutes of checking in and I didn't feel rushed like I have felt with other healthcare providers. Would highly recommend.

Unfortunately the main treatment the doctor provided was actually something I’m already taking, an over the counter medicine, which I communicated during the meeting. Lauren was very knowledgeable about homeopathic options which I love, but for some conditions sometimes more actionable items are needed and a better action plan. Ultimately, I’m just upset/frustrated that I travelled 1 hr to get told a lot of stuff I’m already doing, but very much respect the kindness and general support. For most patients, would recommend - if you have more chronic illness or mental health problems I would not recommend. Felt looked down on for my medications.

A few months ago, I visited a doctor within the same practice who didn't leave a positive impression on me for various reasons. However, my recent experience with Dr. Golding was much better. The provider didn’t listen to me - did the exam that wasn’t covered by my insurance when I specifically asked to make sure everyone is done as a preventive visit. Once I received the bill and sent to the provider, she said it’s out of her knowledge and she would refer me to the billing department. Billing never followed up and later on couldn’t fix the bill as they already submitted wrong codes. Would never come back
to Lauren simply because she doesn’t stay on top of patient care - billing is part of patient care. Now I am stuck with the bill that could easily be avoided if she simply listened

This was my first visit and I'm sure I will be back. The staff is friendly the office is clean and everyone that I saw were very professional. I felt very comfortable talking and going over my medical history and what my expectations were. Highly recommended!
