She completed her education as chief resident at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in McKeesport, Pennsylvania before relocating to Detroit, Michigan, where she worked as a Senior Staff Physician for five years in the Henry Ford Health System. I went to Dr. Hysa for a physical and was impressed by her caring attitude and relevant questions. I also liked the fact that she encourages natural remedies before suggesting medications. She was helpful in providing specialty recommendations and I felt like I had her full attention during the appointment.

I thought that Dr. Hysa and her nurse Judith were kind, professional and very approachable. TThe Dr. spent alot of time with me and I did not feel she was rushed to get me in and out. The waiting room needs some music or TV to mask the receptionist calls and to protect patient confidentially. They also could get some magazines and more comfortable chairs, though I did not wait long.

I had some difficulty finding the office. Once I presented myself all went reasonably well. My attendants were courteous.
The one fly in the ointment came when I was handed a clipboard containing several forms to fill out. I announced to the receptionist that I had completed the same online when I booked the appointment.
Once again I had to tackle the matter of question/answer/signing.
The doctor met my expectations...all, as the reviews had rightly established. I am to return for some follow up.

Worth the wait in gold even though wait time was between 30 and 60 minutes!! Dr. Hysa was Caring, Patient and very Thorough. Her staff is warm and efficient. I will be recommending her to several people!!

Dr. Hysa was AWESOME! I am petrified of doctors and hospitals and needles and all that.. and Dr. Hysa was so nice and made me feel so comfortable.. she spent a lot of time with me going over my history and I felt very comfortable talking to her.. highly recommended!!

Dr. Hysa put me at ease as I was nervous. She was empathic and understanding. I need the control and she didn't fight me. I felt inspired by her to make change and I left feeling optimistic. She was very thorough and I found myself telling her things I had no intention of telling.

Very warm and friendly. Took a lot of time to discuss certain concerns I had. Only 2 things that I didn't love - 1) You have to go to a separate lab to have bloodwork done - the other option is to pay a $20 convenience fee to have it done in the office, and 2) My family history was not discussed during the appointment with the doctor.

By far the best doctor I have been to in many years. Most of the doctors in South Florida make you wait in the waiting room, wait in the exam room, see you for 10 minutes max, and act completely uninterested. Dr. Hysa did not make me wait AT ALL, spent at least 30 minutes with me, and was completely thorough. I have recommended her to several people and am thankful I found her.
