Very personable and informative first time visit. My previous optometrist moved his practice out of state and this was my first eye exam in nearly five years. His exam and tests confirmed my past history and that my conditions showed normal progression since my last exam. Very open and convinced me that while I have some issues, there was no requirement for immediate action.
Extremely pleased with my appointment and look forward to trusting my eyes to his care.

Rosen Optometry is pleased to welcome Dr. Lawrence Ernst to our practice. Dr. Ernst was born and raised in St. Louis and is a graduate of De Smet High School, the University of Missouri-Columbia, and the University of Missouri-St. Louis College of Optometry, where he earned his Doctor of Optometry degree.
A member of the American Optometric Association, Missouri Optometric Association, and the St. Louis Optometric Society, Dr. Ernst began practicing in Warrenton, Mo., in 1990 and ran a successful optometric office there for 24 years. "We are very excited that he has now chosen to join our team at Rosen Optometry," said Dr. Steve Rosen.
Dr. Ernst thoroughly enjoys practicing optometry with a special interest in the treatment and management of eye diseases, including cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, dry eye, and diabetic retinopathy. In his spare time, Dr. Ernst enjoys hunting, fishing, golfing, and spending time with his family.

My appointment was with Dr. Ernst, I was sent to a tech who took a couple of photos and tried to convince me i needed a full picture of my eyes and was not covered by my insurance, I declined. I was then sent to another Tech who checked my vision and she again told me I needed the full eye photos so the could track my eye health from year to year, I finally consented. The Tech did a very good evaluation and I was satisfied with her work and would probably go back next year.
