Friendly doctor likes to get to know patients. Clearly knowledgeable about his stuff and has a cute dog! I did feel like some questions were trying to get to know me but also erred on the side of being potentially political which made me a bit uncomfortable.

Dr. Maurer attended the Barry University’s School of Graduate Medical Sciences for Podiatric Medicine and Surgery to receive his medical degree. He then participated in an extensive postgraduate training program, which included a podiatric residency at the University of Louisville’s Department of Orthopedics. Dr. Maurer then completed his podiatric sports medicine fellowship with the Virginia Mason Podiatric Sports Medicine.
When Dr. Maurer is out of the office, he enjoys being a part-time ski instructor, running long distances, and mountain biking. He is also a classically trained pianist.
