I can't say enough good things about Dr. Maurer. He was actually recommended to me by another fine podiatrist. When (if?) it comes time to fuse my ankle, I will have complete confidence in any decisions he makes. I'm 71 andin this for the long haul, and this is the man I'm going with. He's keeping me in the lift lines.

I really appreciate and value Dr Mauer 's expertise. He fixed my right foot in late 2010 and my left one 2 weeks ago. I have the utmost confidence in him. He and his staff have taken very good care ofme. I look forward to having both of my feet in excellent shape so I can do the things I enjoy in life and get back to my regular activity level!

Dr. Maurer and his whole team did an excellent job for me. From our first appointment and diagnosis, through surgery and follow up, he was top shelf. During the recovery stage of my surgery, I had an issue which could havegone from bad to worse very easily. Dr. Maurer recognized the situation immediately. He and his team made me and my situation a top priority, and really took care of me. I know he fit me in between other appointments, came in on his day off, and anything else that needed to be done to stay on top of the situation. The end result was what could have potentially been a very poor outcome became a very positive outcome. I can't say enough about how happy I am with the results. He and his is team are always friendly and make me feel as though they truly care for me and my well being.

Dr. Maurer makes time for his patients and takes time when we are in the office. When I broke my foot, I had a response from his office within 30 min and was scheduled to see him immediately. I'm a runnerand was referred to Dr. Maurer by people within the elite running community. He is known to these athletes for a reason and (two surgeries later) I too would recommend him wholeheartedly.

A lot of surgeons have no bedside manner, I should know... I’ve had 28 surgeries. Dr. Maurer is not only an excellent surgeon, he is super friendly and has wonderful bedside manner. I had major foot surgery and he was awesome,I’m running again and the scar is phenomenal! 5 stars all the way across!

I think the nurse there had trouble with listening and understanding as she had several miscommunications with the doctor and myself. She misheard what I said several times so I had to correct her. She also didn’t listen to the doctorsdirections when I had to get my X-ray done

From the moment I enter the office, the staff is professional, courteous, relaxed and friendly. They are respectful of my time and don't book so many patients that I feel as though I'm on a conveyor belt (downside is that sometimeshe's rather booked). He takes the time to put me at ease and listen to me and my concerns, then spends an appropriate amount of time to do a thorough exam. He doesn't order/prescribe unnecessary tests or medications (no padding the bill here)! While some physicians might adopt an attitude of, "I'm the one with the medical degree, therefore, my way is the right/only way and your uninformed opinion is foolish and irrelevant," Dr. Maurer provides explanations that are easy to understand and options for treatment plans, making me feel as if we are a team and that my insights are important, too, reinforcing my feeling that this is a doctor I can trust. I was delighted to meet Bella, one of the oh-so-adorable-&-charming office dogs who were happy to accompany me into the exam room (if I so wished) and receive all the adoration I could shower on her during my office visit. Hopefully, more doctors, hospitals, and other medical centers/homes will embrace the valuable role of therapy animals and they'll become much more commonplace.

I love Dr. Maurer! iI starting coming to him in 2009 because of a childhood accident that had me in a leg brace. I had gone to other doctors and my foot only got worse and worse. He was able todiagnose the problem and then performed a complicated surgery, to correct the problem and has kept me walking without the leg brace. I use my feet a lot because I care for 8 horses, 8 goats and a pig, on a 40 acre farm. I recently went back to see him for an adjustment to my original orthodontics from 2009. He not only thoroughly checked my foot out but had added the most amazing service dog, Belle.
