Leah is a registered dietitian with a passion for helping individuals understand and apply nutrition to achieve their optimal wellness goals. She values her clients and works diligently to listen, provide customized nutritional care, and offer support and encouragement. She received her bachelor’s degree in Human Nutrition Foods and Exercise from Virginia Tech and completed her dietetic internship at Virginia Commonwealth University. Leah is currently providing clients with evidence-based nutritional support in the following areas:

Before Leah understood the meaning of the word nutrition, an appreciation for whole foods began while growing up in a family that had planted vegetable gardens for generations. That appreciation grew into a career interest through a nutrition class in college. Following her formal education, she spent three months in India teaching young women about nutrition and disease prevention and also worked as a dietitian in long-term care. Leah continues her professional education and not only applies this knowledge to her clients but to the varied dietary needs of her family. She loves helping moms with meal planning, healthy snack ideas, and considering the nutritional needs of their own family.
When she is not providing nutritional care to her clients, Leah loves spending quality time with her husband and their four daughters, whether it’s on the soccer field or making pizzas together in the kitchen. She also loves serving in her church, reading, hiking, and a good cup of coffee with friends.
