I moved relatively recently to Memphis from out of state. Transitions are not easy when trying to find a new doctor (especially when you have had in the past amazing doctors), but my first visit with Dr. McCallum was the smoothest most wonderful doctor's appointment I have ever had! Seriously.
When I walked in, there were two ladies at the front desk that both welcomed me warmly, and there were 2-3 patients in the waiting room. I was a few minutes late, but I was given the 2-pages of new patient forms (only 2 pages!) and told to fill out as much as I could, and I could take it back with me while I visited with the nurse and doctor. I didn't finish completing the first page and I was already called to come back.
I walked into the back with one of the nurses and she took my temperature, weight, height. She then brought me back to another nurse where I then told her about my medical history, current prescriptions, and current health issues. Both nurses were extremely friendly and warm.
As soon as we were done, the nurse took me to a nearby examination room. There was a typical examination table in the room, TWO chairs as well as the circular swivel doctor's chair. The TWO chairs were helpful (I have an extremely large handbag as well as an overcoat). But the two chairs would have been useful should I had anyone accompanying me.
I hardly had time wonder how long it would take the doctor to show up, when Dr. McCallum already knocked on the door! He introduced himself with a warm smile, and was understand and thorough with appropriate questions as we underwent my medical history, reason for my need of a physical and transfer of prescriptions. I have decided to make him my Primary Care Physician - and am so happy! I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a doctor.

Love Dr McCallum. He always listens and explains things so well. Also always washes his hands/sanitizes first. Staff is friendly and efficient. The entire visit time from the time we checked in to when we walked out was less than 45 mins.

Might end up in the ER because he did not want to prescribe me some cough meds that will work. I went to this doctor to get what a Walgreens pharmacy tech can recommend. Delsym??? Missed two days of work. This doctor is not good. FYI last time I had cough meds was 2015 so no this is not a disgruntled review. This is a truthful review with no rest in sight. Thanks for costing me more money and irritated lungs.
