Dr. Miro graduated from the State University of New York at Stony Brook in 1986 with a BS and from the State University of New York, State College of Optometry in 1990. He completed a post graduate clinical residency program in primary care optometry, SUNY State College of Optometry in 1991.

Dr. Miro was amazing! When I showed up, I wasn’t sure if I was experiencing issues with my contacts or a more serious medical issue. Once he determined it was a more serious medical issue and that he wasn’t within my network, he spent time referring me to other nearby doctors who he knew would be in my network - and even called them to see if they could squeeze me in! His generosity and kindness was something that’s rarely found these days and I’m so touched and grateful for his compassion. Thank you, Dr. Miro!
