I have seen several Doctors about the same complaint with no relief. This Doctor was amazing he finally found out the cause of my issue and was absolutely amazing. His entire staff treated me with kindness and respect and was so attentive to my needs. Its refreshing to find a doctor that is concerned about your needs and pain.

Leonardo Oliveira, MD, is an orthopaedic sports medicine specialist. Dr. Oliveira provides skilled non-surgical care for athletic and musculoskeletal injuries in teens and adults. His specialties include musculoskeletal ultrasound-guided diagnostic and interventional procedures and sports concussions.
His clinical interest areas include tendon disorders (such as tendonitis and partial tears), arthritis in physically-active individuals, and running injuries. Dr. Oliveira's goal is to help each patient perform at the highest level possible. He incorporates the latest research into individualized care plans designed to help patients achieve an appropriate level of activity and return to their sport of choice. As a long-distance runner, he has completed the Chicago and Miami Marathons, and several half marathons throughout the US.
Dr. Oliveira is part of the medical team for the WNBA Chicago Sky, and is a team physician for Concordia University Chicago and treats their athletes for sports medicine and musculoskeletal injuries. He also has experience providing care for runners during races, including the Chicago and Cleveland marathons in recent years.
