I began my career as a licensed therapist and my main focus area has been treating PTSD/Trauma. I am certified in EMDR which has been an excellent journey of helping clients recover from traumatic events. After working as a therapist for 20 years, I decided to return to school and obtain my psychiatric Nurse Practitioner degree. I have always had an interest in the medical side of psychological wellness.
I enjoy working with clients as a team and assisting them learn the information they need about the medication they are being prescribed and how to make it a successful experience. As a trained Acupuncturist, I believe in the holistic mind and body connection. In my personal time, I enjoy anything on the water, especially boating and beach time. I live on the water and close to the beach. I love all types of animals and would love to visit every safari around the world.
