Very short waiting time, by the time I finished the paperwork, they brought me to the back and started on the eye exams. Excellent superb staff. Very efficient, knowledgeable, focused, friendly, helpful, professional, thorough in all areas. Front desk, Dr. Sandoval, her assistants that took cafe of me and the nice lady who took care of finding me the right frame and fitting me were just awesome and very nice. Other Dr.'s offices I have been to in the past, seemed too professional, unfriendly, etc. It seems like the staff that I encountered there liked their job and took very good care of me, was very thorough in all the explanations and instructions give to me.

I've had the same eye doctor for near 20 years, sadly he retired so I had to find a new eye doctor. Dr. Sandoval made me feel comfortable and was extremely nice and helpful. I'm happy to have found a new eye doctor a bit closer to home.

Dr. Sandoval was born in New Jersey and raised in the quaint town of Inverness, FL. Upon graduation from high school as valedictorian, Dr. Sandoval moved to Orlando, FL where she attended the University of Central Florida. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Microbiology and Molecular Biology and a minor in Psychology. Having her choice of schools to attend to pursue her optometric education, Dr. Sandoval stayed close to home and attended Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry in Ft. Lauderdale, FL and was awarded the Optometry Chancellor’s Scholarship. She had the opportunity to train at Aran Eye Associates, a multi-center ophthalmic surgery practice in South Florida. In 2005, she graduated with highest honors with a Doctorate in Optometry. She and her husband then moved back to Orlando, FL to establish her optometric practice and where her husband completed his medical residency. They are both now happily serving in the Orlando healthcare community. Dr. Sandoval especially appreciates the value of preventative medical care, nutrition, education and early intervention. She desires to provide the best possible vision and ocular comfort to her patients to allow them to set their sight on the greater things in life. Dr. Sandoval currently resides in Orlando with her family. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, church activities, jogging, reading and cooking.

I work at an insurance company and hear stories about providers that make me wonder how they stay in business, so I tried to do some homework to find a quality provider - and they met or exceeded my expectations in all areas that I was watching out for. Very knowledgeable, professional, on top of things, did not try to up-sell services, etc. I definitely recommend this provider.

Dr. Sandoval and her staff were all great. She diagnosed my problem quickly and treated me in a way that was both effective and economical (she prescribed 3 over-the-counter medicines, and gave me a coupon for one.) The only imperfect thing about my visit was finding out that she was not in my insurance network when my online insurance info had said she was, but the exam was reasonably priced. I would recommend this optometrist to anyone. It's also a very nice facility with an eyeglasses shop on the premises, so very convenient. Hoping to have corrective vision surgery there one day if I'm a good candidate.

I had left this practice and followed a doctor that was there previously. I missed the office and the professionalism here so came back.
I did not know Dr. Sandoval prior to coming for my appointment but was thoroughly impressed. She, as well as her assistants were excellent.

I am thankful that eye exams are annual. My appointment was at 10:00am, and I left the office at 12:20pm. I had an hour's wait until I was called back and had more waiting time in between. In total, I probably saw the assistant/doctor for a total of 35 minutes. I really liked Dr. Sandoval as a person; she was really nice and polite, and seemed very knowledgeable. The staff was also very accommodating. But I still felt kind of rushed, even with all the wait time in between. I wish I was asked more questions.

1. I arrived at 9:15 and waited until 10:15, although the office opened at 8:30. How can you be 1 hour behind when the office has only been opened for 45 minutes. I don't have time sitting around all day and clearly this is a scheduling problem.
2. When I mentioned this, lots of apologizes, but no real concern shown that the timing was so off. One person went so far to say that there was a shortage of rooms. That made no sense to me, and clearly a problem with scheduling.
3. Doctor was nice, but she would ask questions and then quickly turn to the assistant to give directions, cutting off my response on at least 3 occasions. Why ask a question if you are not going to listen.
4. Time for me to find a new eye doctor. Between yesterday and my experience selecting glasses that keep breaking, I am just not happy with the service.
