Dr. Lewis Silverman earned his degree in medicine from the Université Libre de Bruxelles Faculté de Médecine. He completed residencies in internal medicine at Metropolitan Hospital Center and at Montefiore Medical Center. He also holds two fellowships, one in hematology from Montefiore Medical Center and the other in neoplastic diseases from Mount Sinai Hospital.
Dr. Silverman holds certification from the American Board of Internal Medicine with a special focus on hematology and medical oncology. He also has an interest in research and has authored papers in reputed journals.
