She was very attentive and friendly to my son. I appreciated the caring and professionalism that she displayed. It was my first time bringing my son there, but it will not be the last. I now have a new pediatrician for my son. :)

Dr. Yang also served as research assistant for The Foundation for Research on Sexually Transmitted Diseases, Inc., a role she held for a year, where she helped distribute safer-sex information and materials.
After earning her Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry from Columbia University, where she graduated magna cum laude, Dr. Yang received her MD from Albany Medical College. Her commitment to pediatrics had been long-since established, so Dr. Yang went straight into her three-year residency in pediatrics at Schneider Children's Hospital North Shore Long-Island Jewish Pediatrics Training Program. Dr. Yang talked with me and my son to find out his medical history and I enjoyed that. Many times, a pediatric doctor forgets that the child is the patient and should be a part of the conversation too. She was quite inviting, and Karen, the receptionist was a burst of pure sunshine. My son enjoyed his visit and wants to go back very soon. Needless to say, Dr. Yang will most definitely be my son's pediatrician from now on.
